1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Divorcify (the "Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

1.1 These terms apply to all users including clients seeking legal services and professionals (lawyers and mediators) offering services.

1.2 The Platform is operated by Divorcify Ltd., an Israeli company registered under applicable Israeli law.

1.3 We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform 30 days before taking effect.

2. Platform Purpose

Divorcify is a marketplace connecting individuals going through divorce or separation with qualified legal professionals.

2.1 The Platform facilitates connections but does not provide legal advice or services directly.

2.2 All legal relationships are formed directly between clients and professionals, not with Divorcify.

2.3 Divorcify is not a law firm and does not practice law or mediation.

3. Professional Verification Requirements

3.1 Lawyers

All lawyers must provide:

  • Active Israeli Bar Association membership number
  • Current practicing license
  • Professional liability insurance documentation
  • Proof of good standing with the Bar Association
  • Verification of specialization claims

3.2 Mediators

All mediators must provide:

  • Recognized mediator certification or license
  • Completed accredited mediation training
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Proof of continuing education compliance

3.3 Divorcify reserves the right to verify all credentials and reject applications that do not meet professional standards.

4. Reviews and Ratings

4.1 Clients may submit reviews only for professionals they have actually worked with.

4.2 Reviews must be truthful, factual, and based on personal experience.

4.3 Prohibited review content includes: false information, defamatory statements, confidential case details, discriminatory language, or promotional content.

4.4 Professionals may respond to reviews but cannot request removal unless the review violates these terms.

4.5 Divorcify reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms or applicable law.

5. Pricing and Payments

5.1 All pricing and payment arrangements are made directly between clients and professionals.

5.2 Divorcify does not process payments, charge fees on transactions, or guarantee pricing.

5.3 Professionals must display accurate pricing information and disclose all fees upfront.

5.4 Use of the Platform for browsing and contacting professionals is free for clients.

5.5 Professionals pay a monthly subscription fee to maintain their profile on the Platform.

6. Liability Disclaimers

6.1 Divorcify is not liable for the quality, outcome, or legality of services provided by professionals.

6.2 We do not guarantee results, case outcomes, or professional competence.

6.3 The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

6.4 Users assume all risk when engaging professionals through the Platform.

6.5 Divorcify is not responsible for disputes between clients and professionals.

6.6 Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Professional Conduct

7.1 Professionals must comply with Israeli Bar Association rules and professional ethics codes.

7.2 Professionals must maintain client confidentiality per legal and ethical obligations.

7.3 Prohibited conduct includes: false advertising, conflicts of interest without disclosure, solicitation violations, fee splitting with non-lawyers.

7.4 Violations may result in profile suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.

7.5 Serious violations will be reported to the Israeli Bar Association or relevant regulatory bodies.

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Client-Professional Disputes: Disputes between clients and professionals must be resolved directly between parties or through Israeli Bar Association dispute resolution procedures.

8.2 Platform Disputes: Disputes involving Divorcify shall be governed by Israeli law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Israeli courts.

8.3 Mediation: Parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before initiating litigation.

8.4 Class Action Waiver: Users agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • 9.1 Provide false information during registration or profile creation
  • 9.2 Impersonate another person or professional
  • 9.3 Share confidential case information publicly
  • 9.4 Use the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
  • 9.5 Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without permission
  • 9.6 Circumvent Platform security measures
  • 9.7 Violate any applicable laws or regulations

10. Termination

10.1 Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting support.

10.2 Divorcify may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

10.3 Upon termination, public profile information remains visible for review history purposes.

10.4 Professionals must provide 30 days notice before account closure to allow client transitions.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 All Platform content, design, and technology are owned by Divorcify and protected by intellectual property laws.

11.2 Users grant Divorcify a license to display their profile information and reviews on the Platform.

11.3 Unauthorized use of Platform content or trademarks is prohibited.
